Terms of use
Last updated 5 November 2026.
DiveTube is a free, non-commercial directory of technical diving videos, run by Dive with Jess. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Videos aren't training
Cave, wreck, deep, trimix, rebreather and decompression diving can injure or kill you. Watching a video, including every video listed here, doesn't qualify you to do any of it. Get trained by a qualified instructor, dive within your training and experience, and follow your training agency's standards. Nothing on DiveTube is professional, medical or safety advice.
Whose content this is
The videos belong to their creators and play from YouTube under YouTube's terms. Quoted comments belong to the people who wrote them. DiveTube links to and describes this content; it doesn't own it. If you made a video or wrote a comment and want it removed, use "Flag a problem" on the video's page or the form on the About page.
AI-written text
Summaries, "why divers recommend it" lines, labels and safety topics are written by AI from each video's title, description and what divers said, not from watching it. They can be wrong or incomplete. Watch the video and judge it for yourself.
Data download
The data download is licensed under ODC-By 1.0 for the database itself. It doesn't grant rights to the videos, thumbnails or any third-party text inside it.
Suggestions you send
If you send a suggestion or correction, we may use it to improve DiveTube without owing you anything. Don't send anything you don't want us to read. See Privacy for how suggestions are handled.
No warranty
DiveTube is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Dive with Jess isn't liable for any loss or injury from using DiveTube, the videos it lists or the sites it links to.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go through the form on the About page.
