What your browser stores

Your likes, Watch later list, history and theme choice are kept in this browser's local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing site data removes them.

Reddit quotes

Video pages quote short excerpts (25 words at most) from public comments in diving subreddits, with the author's username and a link to the original thread. A daily check removes any quote whose comment has been deleted or removed on Reddit, so it comes off DiveTube within 48 hours. DiveTube doesn't collect anything else about Reddit users and doesn't use Reddit data to train AI models.

If you're quoted and want your quote removed, use the suggestion form on the About page and we'll take it down.

YouTube

Videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which loads only when you press play. From then on Google's privacy policy applies to the player. Thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers.

Suggestions

The suggestion form on the About page is handled by Formspree, which emails it to DiveTube. Only what you type is sent.

Fonts

Fonts are served by DiveTube itself, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts.
